Our hand blended soup mix is a wonderful addition to your spice cabinet as it will give you some savory flavor sensations that will give your vegetable soups some personality. This blend really brings out the best in your root vegetables and squash especially sweet potatoes, winter squash, acorn squash, carrots and turnips.
Hand blended from celery salt, parsley flakes, garlic powder, sea salt, summer savory, marjoram, thyme, black pepper, turmeric and sage.
We like to use 1 tablespoon of mix per 2 cups of water but we also recommend that you experiment and find the right combination for your tastes. This is a nice change of pace from the typical broths and stocks and makes for a lighter soup.
This also makes an excellent low calorie dip just add 1 tablespoon of vegetable soup mix to 1 cup of low fat sour cream. Perfect for fresh vegetables or chips. Add defrosted, drained frozen spinach and put in a bread bowl for one of the more popular dips that people enjoy.
