Apple Pie French Toast Casserole is a delicious twist on two quintessential comfort food classics. This would make an incredible dessert or a super decadent brunch dish!
¾ Cup Light Brown Sugar
3 tsp The Bean & The Leaf Apple Pie Spice
½ Cup unsalted butter, melted
3 Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
½ Cup Dried Cranberries
1 Loaf French bread, cut into 1 inch pieces
6 Eggs, beaten
1½ Cups 1% Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Grease a 9x13inch baking dish. Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large bowl, mix together brown sugar, and 1 tsp The Bean & The Leaf Apple Pie Spice. Add melted butter, apples, and cranberries and mix well.
Pour mixture into baking dish, and spread evenly. Layer bread slices on top.
Whisk eggs, milk, 2 tsp Apple Pie Seasoning, and Vanilla Extract together and pour over top the bread slices, making sure all the bread has been soaked. At this point, you can cover and refrigerate overnight, or…
